React Native Google Auth(Explain like I'm 5)

Hey guys, I see so many posts on here about the Google auth but I am at a loss. I have self taught this stuff using YouTube and online courses. I have tried so many things. Basically, when I click the button, it returns the URL as an object and does not redirect to user to the Consent Screen. if i copy and post or control click the link it provides in the terminal it goes to the right place and lets me login but i just cannot get it to redirect me to the link in the app. tested on both android and web.
