Appwrite Pro support for a new system

Last months, we have been negotiating the creation of a new software with a potential customer.

I am analyzing if we should develop the backend with Appwrite, I already had the experience on making one product with Appwrite and really liked it, but this time, is going to be a bigger project (6 months with 5 devs) and I have some doubts about how the licensing is going to work. So, in short, I have the following questions:

  1. What can we expect with Appwrite's Pro license in terms of support?
  2. Do we need a Pro license if we self-host? Could we start with Pro during the development and then move to self-host if necessary?
  3. Even though I already set a price for it, I wonder if you guys have a methodology to set the cost for a project, maybe a spreadsheet template or something. As this is the first time I created a quotation for a big system I want to double check I did it correctly.
TL;DR
- Developer considering Appwrite for a new system, asks about Pro license support. - Questions about whether Pro license is needed for self-hosting and transition options. - Asks for guidance in setting project costs, possibly a methodology or template. Solution: 1. Appwrite's Pro license includes support for developers. 2. A Pro license may be needed initially, even for self-hosting. Transition options may be available. 3. No specific methodology mentioned, but developer can reach out to Appwrite for guidance on setting project costs.
