Appwrite 2.0 is now available for self-hosting.
This release includes:
- Console IV, the rebuilt Appwrite Console, with Appwrite Terminal and Appwrite Explorer built in
- PostgreSQL as the default database, with MariaDB and MongoDB still available in the installer
- Hyperloop B, the coroutine engine that serves many requests from one process
- Worker topologies. The default combined topology runs a PostgreSQL instance on 16 containers instead of 33
- Usage metrics recorded in a bundled ClickHouse container
- Git deployments from GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitea alongside GitHub
Head over to our migration guide to upgrade your instance. To change topology during the upgrade, pass --topology=combined or --topology=separate to the upgrade command.
