Custom domain many people are complaining and asking for answers from you guys it wouldn't take you a day to fix it why naa 🤔

TL;DR
The user is experiencing issues with their custom domain verification and SSL certificate generation in Appwrite. They are also facing problems with Google OAuth2. The support team is aware of the issues and working on solutions. The user is advised to delete and re-add the custom domain and contact Appwrite Pro support for further assistance.

I am confused, can you provide more details than just this? What exactly is the issue?

I changed the custom domain name added the cname and the recommended CAA given to me to my registerer (hostinger) waited for 2 days still it failed to verified and generate the certification.

I'm having issues with browsers third parties when using Google Oauth2 I followed the docs used (create Oauth2 session) and uses the createOauth2token method too still it fails.

Btw, if you have Appwrite Pro, it's best to submit a support ticket via the Appwrite Console

<@1386654835583225947> the domain is app.carrydey.tech

2 Feb, 2026, 18:47

Please try deleting the domain from Appwrite and let us know when that's done.

<@1386654835583225947> after the user deletes it, delete the domain and apex domain from our certificate provider.

<@1243900563440271403> after that, you can try creating the custom domain again

Thanks man I've deleted it

Wether I like it or not I've to move to appwrite pro, my app is growing, to me it's the best alternative I've ever come across for BaaS.
