On the pricing page the pricing for a user is both referenced as a monthly active users and a user.
What is the exact definition of a user?

Definition of a "user" for pricing purposes is someone who engages in any activity within the API on a monthly basis.
In regards to pricing it is only relevant how many monthly active users you have. An active user is someone who does any kind of activity in the API
