Is there a way to view more than just the ID field in the relationship dropdown when creating a document? The ID means nothing to me by itself if I have more descriptive fields in the linked table

Developers are asking if there is a way to view more than just the ID field in the relationship dropdown when creating a document. They find the ID field alone not very descriptive. One possible solution is to set a Display Name in the settings.
