I have the option to add a role displayed in the console
ah I see, I can add guest with read
Yes, and you can give permissions to a specific user, team or anyone
after updating the permissions, are they immediate?
I think yes, once you have set permissions you should receive changes if you create a document
ok thanks, I am updating, just double checking that should also trigger an event?
Nope, only document edition, for example, updating an attribute, it's permissions, etc
Or just when you add/delete a new doc
ah ok π let me try that
no luck π€
do I need to enable Document security
?
I think not. What are the permissions you have set?
yep I didn't think so either, but thought I would ask
Guests is for anonymous login. I think you want access for all normal users instead?
oh I see, yep for everyone, I wil update to any
yes that worked with any
π
thank you!!
Then you will need to set it to Users instead, so all logged in users will be able to access. If you want everyone even not logged in, you should set it to any as you've done
I can sleep better now π
I will play more tomorrow, now I know it is working (well later today, it is tomorrow already π )
thanks again for the amazingly fast support π
Hehehe great! If you face any other issues, don't hesitate to create another post and we will try to help you again π
