I have the option to add a role displayed in the console

TL;DR
Issue: User is not receiving realtime events Solution: 1. Check the permissions and ensure they are set correctly (e.g., to 'Users' or 'Any' for desired access). 2. Enable 'Document security' if necessary. 3. Update permissions, which should trigger an event. 4. Make sure the permissions changes are immediate. 5. Consider adding a role or giving specific permissions to users, teams, or guests as needed.

Yes, and you can give permissions to a specific user, team or anyone

after updating the permissions, are they immediate?

I think yes, once you have set permissions you should receive changes if you create a document

Nope, only document edition, for example, updating an attribute, it's permissions, etc

Or just when you add/delete a new doc

Guests is for anonymous login. I think you want access for all normal users instead?

Then you will need to set it to Users instead, so all logged in users will be able to access. If you want everyone even not logged in, you should set it to any as you've done
