There are some great and very helpful resources published by members of the AppWrite team.

Eg here's a very insightful article in nginx: https://medium.com/@stnguyen90/how-to-run-appwrite-behind-nginx-19348ed34243 It would have been great if that would form part of the official documentation

Although it is understood that publishing on eg medium.com does promote the project, most of the information does not re-published as part of the official documentation.

It is also appreciated that more effort would be invested in the cloud hosting documentation that for those users who choose to do self-hosting, as it makes more "business sense".

So unfortunately this information is not easily accessible for those looking for self-hosting or related common use-case resources.

Please consider publishing AppWrite articles as part of documentation, as opposed to only publishing on third-party platforms like eg medium.com.

PS: Also consider adding a tag for "Documentation" to this support section 😉

TL;DR
The user is suggesting that self-hosting related articles should be included in the official documentation of AppWrite. They mention that although there are some resources available on platforms like Medium and Github, they are not easily accessible for users looking for self-hosting guidance. The user recommends creating a section on the appwrite.io website for blogs, guides, or tutorials where all the information can be found in one place. They also mention an article about running AppWrite behind Nginx that they found helpful and suggest it be included in the official documentation. The user's suggestion is to publish AppWrite articles as part of the documentation rather than only publishing them

I suggest a 'blog', 'guides' or a 'tutorials' section on appwrite.io for this. Cross linking articles from other platforms is fine but atleast we'd have all of that info. listed under one platform!

That would also be nice. What I do not like about the Medium posts is that is is basically behind a "members-only paywall" - so not really public information for AppWrite users 😠 but it is such a good and helpful article! <:appwriteparty:946072712915341333>

I agree 💯 on Medium's paywall & restrictions. I'll push this suggestion to /ideas.

Appwrite blogs are on dev.to (https://dev.to/appwrite), but we do have plans to move this under our own blog...it's just taking a while to get it up and running

We were not able to find this nice documentation before - maybe it can be linked from the main appwrite.to site - maybe a section for "other resources"?
