[SOLVED] [.env] App Domain Target vs App Domain?

In the .env file, these two variables seem sort of confusing, anybody could expand on that? Thank you very much.

I have had the app domain set only, and it has worked fine so far now I just noticed the domain target was on localhost. I wonder how these relate.
