Virtual folders (s3 like paths for files) NOT showing up in the UI

We were successfully able to upload files with a specific path like:

<bucket>/<sub_folder>/<filename>/

and it also gets uploaded successfully at correct paths

but while seeing the list of files on Appwrite console, I do not see my folders - all files seem to be at the ROOT of the bucket, even when thats not the case.

for example, S3 has the capability to group files by folder - Appwrite console UI does not have that.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Support for virtual folders was something we specifically introduced for our S3 API. In the Storage API, while be have included the ability to list and query by folder, these are still very much treated as metadata of the files and not directories/containers around them.

Keeping that in mind, the console still shows files as they were shown earlier.
