Upgrade to 2.3.0 path on self-hosted server

Hello all, just a quick question. I'm currently on 1.9.6.
Already done the 1.9.5 migration then 1.9.6. Now I would like to upgrade to latest version: 2.3.0.

Can I go directly to 2.3.0 then migrate from Web UI?

you should be able to go directly to 2.3.0 and run migrate there (2.0.0, 2.1.0, 2.2.0, 2.3.0, use the same V25 migration file).
i still recommend making a backup before just in case.

@iStornZ Was the direct upgrade to 2.3.0 smooth on your end….? Did you face any issues….?

Im also currently on 1.9.6…. planning to upgrade in 2 days. ll be going 1.9.6 -> 2.0.0 -> 2.3.0. Will update here.

just tried😅 as you said all using same v25 migration… also official doc mentions its safe to do that✌️

yup, it's on the release page.

The migration stays on V25.
