"general_server_error" while connecting functions to github repo - self-hosted

I am running appwrite in self-hosted, and if I try to connect to github repo, it gives error page -

Error 500
Server Error
general_server_error

Summary

Added variables and authorized/configured, but repos weren't showing in the selection list. Solution: Private key needed to be inside `" ... "` for it to work.

if you want to deploy functions/sites from a Github repo, make sure you have configured your environments for the Github VCS feature. Without that it will throw an error 500

Added variables, could authorize/configure, but the repos aren't showing in the selection list in the console still.
