Appwrite Cloud project is paused and never opens (loading bar finishes with no response)

Hi Appwrite Team & Community,

I am facing a problem with one of my Appwrite Cloud projects which seems to be identical to the other cases of "paused projects" however I have a slight difference in my case.

What occurs:

My project is paused.
If I click on the project in Appwrite Cloud Dashboard, the loading bar under the URL pops up.
Once the loading bar finishes, nothing happens and my project does not get opened or a 403 page, popup window, error message or any options to restore/resume the project gets shown.

What have I done:

• Hard reload (Ctrl + Shift + R)
• Clearing cache/cookies
• Different browsers
• Private/incognito mode
• Trying after waiting

I came across a Discord thread from some previous users where this issue happened due to some kind of bug and got fixed by Appwrite team. As my project acts differently from the others, I thought to check if this could be the same problem or something else.

Hi! Have you checked network logs as well? Was it also showing that 403 error?

I can't see any 403 anywhere. The project fetch seems to be pending for a while then failing

I don't see any 403 errors. The request isn't getting that far—it fails with net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT when I try to open the project.

Ok then, share the screenshots of the error here.. I'll try to ask someone from team to look into this

I have the same as the OP's problem and here is my proof of screenshots

mine it was 403 yet when I upgraded then tried again, it did not open on a desktop then when I opened via mobile, it has the error of project paused even when I upgraded the acc

The project is no longer marked as paused, so the restore appears to have worked. However, I'm still unable to open it.

However, I still can't open the project in the Appwrite Console. When I click the project card, it just keeps loading and never opens the project dashboard.

I reviewed your project, and everything appears to be in order.

Could you please check your project again in the console? You may be seeing a cached version. Please clear your browser cache or open the console in a new incognito/private window and try again.

All my projects are behaving the same. It has been days, I can't access them

I have another observation that may help.

When I click the project card, the browser URL never changes to a project page. It remains on:

https://cloud.appwrite.io/console/organization-69c905e600072f7030da

The loading animation appears, but there is no redirect to the project dashboard.

I've confirmed that:

The project is restored.
My application can successfully connect to Appwrite and fetch data.
I tried Incognito mode and cleared the browser cache.
The issue still persists.

It seems the Console isn't navigating into the project at all. Could you please investigate whether there's an issue with the Console for this project or organization?

Console — any CORS errors when you open the project?
Network — after clicking the project, any failed requests (4xx/5xx)? If so, please send the request URL, status code, and response body.

Unfortunately, mine shows CORS issues

I connected my PC to my phone's hotspot (mobile data), and the Appwrite Console works perfectly.

It looks like it's a network routing issue rather than a project or Appwrite Console issue.
