Domain is owned by a different organization.
I was trying to add a domain to one of my projects however, it keeps giving me the error of Domain is owned by a different organization. I did have a self hosted instance that had the same domain but I deleted that one to migrate to the cloud. Unsure why I am getting this error.
TL;DR
The error "Domain is owned by a different organization" is occurring because the domain was previously linked to a self-hosted instance. Even though the previous instance was deleted, the domain ownership information may still be linked to it. To resolve this issue, contact the domain registrar and explain the situation to have the domain ownership information updated.
