Hello, Recently I was trying to signup with my GitHub account with appwrite account for availing the student benifits but while trying to signup I saw such error,

"This email address must already be in its canonical form. Please remove aliases, tags, or provider-specific variations and try again."

The issue here is I have a ' dot' my GH's primary email and appwrite only accepts canonical email format it looks, and in my case it is not , this leaves me no choice apparently and is limiting form using those benifits.

Kindly do reply If anyone may have faced such issue or could help resolve this issue.

Thank You.

TL;DR
Issue: Developer is unable to sign up with GitHub account on Appwrite due to email address format error. Solution: The error is caused by the presence of a 'dot' in the primary email address of the GitHub account. Appwrite requires emails to be in canonical form. To resolve this, the developer needs to remove aliases, tags, or provider-specific variations from the email address before trying to sign up again on Appwrite.
