Email address must be in its canonical form

Hello, Recently I was trying to signup with my GitHub account with appwrite account for availing the student benifits but while trying to signup I saw such error,

"This email address must already be in its canonical form. Please remove aliases, tags, or provider-specific variations and try again."

The issue here is I have a ' dot' my GH's primary email and appwrite only accepts canonical email format it looks, and in my case it is not , this leaves me no choice apparently and is limiting form using those benifits.

Kindly do reply If anyone may have faced such issue or could help resolve this issue.

Looks like it's done deliberately by appwrite then 😉

It's a simple fix they can implement but chose to keep it the way it is.
