[SOLVED] Unable To Use Root Domain In Appwrite

Since Appwrite Manages my DNS Completely, I tried Pointing the Root Domain (getmyself.app) to Github Pages, It failed So I tried Using Appwrite Sites, also here the root domain doesnt work, i get Certification Generation Failed Error What works is subdomain like www.getmyself.app

why did you switch over to appwrite dns when you wnt to use github pages for your getmyself.app? why not use appwrite sites?

I did not know that, but now I use Appwrite Sites

But still can't get the root domain to work

subdomain like www.getmyself.app works but apex domain getmyself.app doesnt work

Also In the begining, custom domain for project was not getting certificate generated, so i thought something was conflicting so i switched to appwrite dns, but that issue was fixed

add _acme-challenge.getmyself.app and point it to pb75amypa6gblhf5r0.fastly-validations.com

In DNS records right?

I added it

name should be _acme-challenge

you just made _acme-challenge.getmyself.app.getmyself.app

Yep, Rookie mistake. Fixed it

I wish the Appwrite Docs was written in more detailed way, could help beginners

idk, feels too little information was provided for DNS page

the dns records page? What information is missing/too little?

Like how to add Apex Domain, it doent mention things like, if we need to add @ or just write the entire domain name

for example, where i got confused, here for ns records ,it shows whole domain as name

and also the locks on the records just say records are locked, even AI couldn't help here, it was just telling me to delete them

Also, can i delete these 👇 (red arrow pointed)
