It seems that anything to do with deployments gets stuck at a previous version no matter what I do. I don't know what to do except abandon appwrite altogether since I can't even get functions working and pushing a new version.
TL;DR
Function deployment is stuck on the original version and cannot be updated, requiring users to delete and recreate functions to implement changes.

deleting it entirely worked, that's not going to be feasible if i have to delete the entire function for every update
