Hi, I'm trying to connect my domain from Hostinger using an auth.mydomain.com subdomain. I am getting this error:
"Domain verification failed because CAA records do not allow Appwrite's certificate issuer."

yes...and what else do you see on that page?

That's about it. There are a bunch of CAA records pointing to the @ in Hostinger. Do I need to remove those?
interesting...we're missing text at the bottom saying:
If your domain uses CAA records, ensure certainly.com is authorized — otherwise, SSL setup may fail.
anyways, like the error says, you need to update your CAA records

Thanks @Steven , is there a list of CAA records that would be valid? Or is this something I need to check on my end.
Also to confirm, I can do this (just connect the subdomain) without changing my nameservers right?
did you google CAA records?
did you look at your CAA records?

Yep, I have several that came registered, but not sure which is rejecting Appwrite. Will just play around with it - appreciate the help 🙏
read up on them a bit and let me know if you're still stuck
