Unexpected Billing for Pro Plan – Need a Refund & Cancellation

I was incorrectly billed for the Pro Plan, despite never signing up for it or knowingly providing payment details. I also do not use any Pro features.

I’ve attempted to resolve this through premium email support, which shows as online, but I have not received any response for over 3 days. This lack of support is very concerning.

I need this addressed urgently. I need a full refund of the incorrect charge. I also don't want to be billed in the future and want the payment method removed (It won't let me do it since I'm supposed to be billed again apparently but I don't want that happening).

Please escalate this issue immediately, as being charged for a plan I did not subscribe to is unacceptable.

That's not the email you have for your Appwrite account. Please update it to me correct and submit another support ticket

Okay. I have updated my email. That is my fault, i apologize for that. I'm not sure how that email worked since that's not my email and don't know how the account was even verified

Hi Steven,

I’d like to clarify that this payment was fraudulent, as I never signed up for the jsmastery50 code, the Pro Plan, nor did I provide any billing details. I also did not receive any emails on July 21st, which suggests they were sent to an email address that is not mine. This raises serious concerns about potential fraudulent activity on my account and, in my view, fully qualifies for a refund.

Please review this matter carefully. As you can see from my account activity, I have barely used Appwrite - only once, to practice some React concepts which was fully done on the free plan and didn't require payment details. I have since downgraded to the free plan, but I am still worried I may be charged again, which I absolutely do not want to happen.

I kindly request that you:

Process a refund for the unauthorized charge.

Confirm that no further billing will occur on my account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

you have access to the account. it's your account. you shared the project ID to confirm it's yours. If you go to your account details, you'll see the payment card you added. There's no way no one else would have added your payment card to your account
