I enter my credit card information and It doesnt let me pay, why?

I pressed pay 20 times, it still gave me the same error message

I hit refresh and I see that it added my credit card details, but it didn't update the screen.
I don't mean to stay on the same page and press it again. Did you go back to the previous step and try again?
