Seems like the next cli version. It will probably be released next week

Probably??!! What's wrong with you guys? You release a major new version with breaking changes that's full of bugs and a broken cli! Because of that my project is currently stopped - I need to rewrite all my functions and then redeploy them but cli doesn't work! I cannot revert back to older version and noone should be in this position anyway - should you guys had decent QA! And you're telling us - "probably next week"? That's just irresponsible to be honest! Shame on you

@Eldad , please improve the QA - every major release so far had a lot of showstopping bugs

2 Sep, 2023, 16:25

There's a lots of efforts being put behind this release. It's the major release even made here, and yes, some things are a bit buggy and need improvement. The team is working as much as possible to get things solved as fast as possible, and at least most important things will be solved by next week.

Yes, that has been talked too and yes, there will be better QA next time

Respect to the error in this issue, it has been reported and the team is working to solve it

@D5 , it's good that the team is working hard - after the broken release - I am just saying, please work harder BEFORE the release so that we don't have such a broken releases in the future. I am sure you understand - with the popularity and the rich features of Appwrite, it will be more often considered to be used as a production backend. You are also entering the commercial domain - with the cloud offering. This means you should never afford releasing broken application in the future. Thank you for listening and understanding!

Yes, I understand, and it will be avoided in next releases. For now as said, the bugs will be solved very soon

Hey @ddenev, we're taking this feedback very seriously. This was our biggest ever release, and we definitely need to adjust some our process as a team to match the scale of the product. We'll be focusing next week on releasing fixes and learning how we can improve our process.

I can already say we made some changes for the 1.5 release. We'll keep the community posted as we have more updates πŸ™
