i tried adding a new attribute to my appwrite project but i am getting the issue in the above image
TL;DR
Developers are unable to relate documents in the same collection in Appwrite. To resolve this, they should either create a separate collection or use foreign keys for the attribute they are trying to add. 
You can't relate documents in the same collection. You will need to create a separated collection or use foreign keys
