
It will be great if there was a simpler way to backup or a tool within Appwrite itself to do so .

There is an issue open for the hacktoberfest to create in docs an in depth guide on how to make backups properly.
If anyone wants to collab, it's still open.

Also there's a guithub issue requesting bulti-in backups, give it a 👍
