Native databases launched in Frankfurt and New York. As of today they are available in all six Appwrite Cloud regions: Frankfurt (`fra`), New York (`nyc`), San Francisco (`sfo`), Singapore (`sgp`), Sydney (`syd`), and Toronto (`tor`).

That covers [native PostgreSQL](/docs/products/databases/postgresql), [native MySQL](/docs/products/databases/mysql), and dedicated compute for TablesDB, DocumentsDB, and VectorsDB. A database takes the region of the project that owns it, and its storage, backups, and replicas stay in that region. Specifications, pricing, and plan requirements are the same everywhere.

Open **Databases** in any project and click **Create database** to provision one.
